Z Visa

Note:

if the Z Visa applicant wishes to relocate with their families, they are typically able to obtain visas under the S1 or S2 categories as long as they can provide evidence of the relationship (and family members meet the health and character requirements).
The Z visa, also known as China's working visa, is a critical document for foreign nationals seeking employment in China. It is the legal document that grants the holder the right to work and earn a living in China. To be eligible for a Z visa, applicants must meet certain conditions, such as having a valid passport, a clean criminal record, and a job offer from a Chinese employer with an authorized work permit. The Z visa is issued in several types, depending on the applicant's qualifications and intended work in China, including the A, B, and C categories. A-type Z visa

Individuals who meet the following conditions can apply for an A-type work visa:

Achieve a point-based system score of 85 or above,

Have an offer of income higher than 6 times the local average annual income,and
Not be restricted by age or work experience.
The A-type Z visa is specifically granted to foreign high-end talents who meet the "high-precision and high-shortage" needs of China's economic and social development that are market demand-oriented.
Foreign high-end talent encompasses scientists, technological leaders, international entrepreneurs, specialized professionals, and other individuals who possess the necessary skills and expertise required to fulfill the aforementioned needs and market demands. Furthermore, they must meet the standards for foreign high-end talent based on the point-based system and are not subject to age or work experience restrictions.
B-type Z visa

Individuals who meet the following conditions can apply for a B-type work visa:

Achieve a point-based system score of 60 or above,
Hold a bachelor's degree or higher and have two or more years of relevant work experience,
Have an offer of income higher than 4 times the local average annual income,
Possess an internationally recognized vocational skill qualification certificate, or Be a foreign language teacher.
The B-type Z visa is granted to foreign specialized talent who meet the job requirements of the Catalog for the Guidance of Foreigners Working in China and the point-based system standards for foreign specialized talent. These individuals should not exceed 60 years of age and must have a bachelor's degree or higher and two or more years of relevant work experience. If necessary, age, degree, or work experience requirements may be appropriately relaxed.restrictions.
C-type Z visa

Individuals who meet the following conditions can apply for a C-type work visa:

Already obtained employment certificates under the old policy but do not meet the criteria for AB class personnel when applying for an extension, or
An outstanding master's graduate who has just graduated from domestic or overseas high-level universities or has registered a company within two years after graduating from college.
The C-type Z visa is granted to foreign ordinary personnel who meet the temporary, seasonal, non-technical, or service-oriented work requirements stipulated by national policies and regulations to satisfy domestic labor market demands.

The Foreigner's Permanent Residence Permit, also known as the " China Green Card," is a legal identity document for foreigners who have obtained permanent residency status and reside in China.
